West Bromwich Albion players have supposedly been pictured in a hotel reception in the middle of the night after a fire alarm was set off during their stay in Leeds.
The Birmingham Live reported about the event in question. It is yet to be discovered what actually happened, if anything.
The Baggies will come up against one of their promotion rivals tonight. Slaven Bilic and his players opted to make the long trip up north to Yorkshire a day prior to their clash, rather than this afternoon.
However, their pre-match preparations could not have got off to a worse start if a picture circling social media of some of the players waiting in the lobby is to be believed.
Grady Diangana, Charlie Austin, Filip Krovinović and Sam Johnstone are all seen in the picture sitting on the floor with one still wrapped in a blanket.
It is unsure just how much gravitas is behind the picture and even when the event took place.
Needless to say, it hasn’t stopped some disgruntled Baggies fans to respond on Twitter by relating this situation to something similar that happened last season.

Bielsa up to his dirty tricks again, does he not realise there’s a return game later in the season 🤔

One fan saw the brighter side of the situation…
On our side it is not a 3 pm kick off. No doubt Slav will let them have a afternoon nap. Shouldnt effect them too much
