Nottingham Forest striker Tyler Walker has insisted that he’s focused on his loan spell at Lincoln City, according to BBC Radio Lincolnshire journalist Rob Makepeace.
The 23-year-old is currently on loan at Lincoln from Forest and has been a key player for the Imps so far this season, scoring 15 goals in 30 appearances in all competitions.
The forward has been in sparkling form recently and has scored five goals in his last four games. His performances for the Imps have been so impressive that there’s been talk that Forest might recall him from his loan spell at Sincil Bank this month.
Forest have made a promising start to the Championship season and promotion looks a real possibility, but head coach Sabri Lamouchi is keen to strengthen his attacking options in the transfer market to provide some backup for striker Lewis Grabban.
The Reds have been linked with a number of different strikers over the past few weeks, but there’s also been speculation that the club could decide recall Walker from his loan spell at Lincoln.
However, BBC Radio Lincolnshire journalist Makepeace has revealed on Twitter that he asked Walker about his future and that the striker has insisted that he’s fully focused on spending the rest of the season with the Imps.
Better news with regards to Tyler Walker. When I asked him about his future he said " My contract here's until the end of the season. That's all I'm thinking about".

Walker is a great striker and his performances for Lincoln so far this season have been very encouraging.
He could be ready to make the step up to the Championship, so perhaps Forest will decide to recall him. With that said, though, I can’t see him starting matches for the Reds ahead of Grabban.
Therefore, it would probably be more beneficial for him to spend the rest of the season with Imps. He seems pretty focused on seeing out the campaign at Sincil Bank too, which is very good news for Lincoln fans.
