Following the disappointment of missing out on the Premier League following their collapse at the end of the regular season and dramatic play-off semi final defeat to Derby, you can't blame Leeds United's squad for wanting a bit of time away from football.

One such player who seems to have taken the opportunity of the break from football to enjoy some down time is Kemar Roofe.

The striker, who scored 15 goals in 33 league appearances this season, took to Instagram on Thursday to post a picture of himself at Disney's Animal Kingdom in Florida, although he may be wishing he had reconsidered a certain aspect of his outfit before posting the photo.

Responding to Roofe's post, the striker's Leeds teammate Tyler Roberts was clearly unimpressed with his choice of headwear, instructing his attacking partner to get rid of his hat as soon as possible.

As seen from Roofe's reply however, the 26-year-old was in no mood to take the abuse lying down, firing back with his own jibe about Roberts ability to pull off such a piece of clothing.

Roofe has seen plenty of speculation about his future recently, with The Daily Star reporting that newly promoted Aston Villa are interested in the striker, despite Leeds preparing contract talks with the player as he enters the final 12 months of his deal at Elland Road.

The verdicct

While I am in no position to pass any sort of judgement on the hat or any other part of Roofe's outfit, I do think that this sort of exchange will be good to see for Leeds fans.

It suggests that the mood is still good amongst the Leeds squad, despite the disappointment of missing out on promotion and recent speculation around Roofe's contract.
