Wales capped off an impressive week as they qualified for Euro 2020 win a 2-0 win over Hungary at the Cardiff City Stadium.

Ryan Giggs' side knew that a win over the Hungarians would be enough to secure automatic qualification, after they had previously beat Azerbaijan in their last game.

Wales and Leeds United's Tyler Roberts took to Twitter following the win over Hungary, and was evidently pleased to secure qualification to the European Championships next year.

Roberts has recently returned to the Leeds first team and has been hugely impressive for Marcelo Bielsa's side, as they go in search of a long-awaited promotion back into the Premier League.

Bielsa's men are currently sat third in the Championship table, and are just two points adrift of league leaders West Brom heading towards the festive period.

Roberts returns to club action with Leeds this weekend when they travel to Kenilworth Road to take on Luton Town, in a game where the Whites will be expected to pick up three points to keep the pressure on the Baggies.

The Verdict:

He'll be hoping he can play his part for Wales in Euro 2020.

Roberts has really impressed me since coming back into the Leeds first team, and I think he could certainly offer them something different going forward for the remainder of this year's campaign.

If he can continue to build on these positive performances, then I see no reason as to why he won't be included in Ryan Giggs' squad for the European Championships in the summer of 2020.
