Leeds United have recently picked up pace in the 2016/17 Championship campaign, and any rumours or speculation of Garry Monk leaving the club have surely been erased.

The Yorkshire side sit 9th in the table at the time of writing after 15 games, winning 7 times, losing 6 times, and drawing twice, and for a team that sat near the bottom of the league after a few games, they now find themselves just one point off the playoffs.

The only real issue for Garry Monk is that the most influential players find themselves at Elland Road on a loan deal, the likes of defenders Kyle Bartley and Pontus Jansson, and wingers Pablo Hernandez and Hadi Sacko.

The latter have been instrumental since their arrival from Al-Arabi and Sporting Lisbon respectively, however may depart Elland Road once the season is over, with the Spaniard Hernandez's loan deal up in January.

Therefore, with that being said, here FLW writer George Harbey identifies TWO wingers that Garry Monk MUST look to sign in the January transfer window...

Elvis Manu

The 23-year old Dutchman has been made surplus to requirements at Brighton, failing to make a start for the Seagulls despite making 10 appearances for the club.

But the pacey winger still has bags of potential in his locker, and after scoring 21 goals in 62 appearances in the Netherlands, Manu has a lot to offer on the left flank.

Manu would bring the same traits and characteristics that Hadi Sacko brings to Garry Monk's squad, and would be an influential player for the Whites.

Craig Noone

Craig NooneCraig Noone

The 28-year old has been influential for Cardiff City in 135 appearances for the Welsh side.

Noone joined the Bluebirds from Brighton in 2012 for a fee of £1million, and has made a magnificent impact for City, now managed by Neil Warnock.

At 28 years of age, Noone is reaching the peak of his career, and what better way to end it at one of England's biggest sleeping giants; if Monk could pull this move off, it would be a fantastic coup.

So...what do you think Leeds fans? Would you agree with any of these choices? Do you reckon Leeds will be able to keep hold of Hernández and Sacko? Which other wingers would you like to see join Leeds? Leave your thoughts in the comments below!
