One player that The Millers could look to bring in this summer is Liverpool man Cameron Brannagan. The 21-year-old is a very talented ball playing midfielder and could be exactly what the team need to inject a creative spark into a the midfield.

Brannagan actually spent part of last season on loan at League One outfit Fleetwood Town, therefore has already acclimatised to the tempo and physicality of the league.

He is a player who can dictate the tempo of play and possesses a great range of passing accompanied by excellent vision.

The 21-year-old is rated very highly at Anfield and has actually featured nine teams for the first team, with three of these appearances coming in the Premier League.

Gedion Zelalem 

Another player The Millers could look to poach on loan this summer is young Arsenal midfielder Gedion Zelalem.

Despite being German-born, Zelalem is a United States under-23 international and is someone who is touted as a future first teamer for the Americans.

Zelalem has already made four first team appearances for the Gunners, although he is yet to make a Premier League appearance.

The 20-year-old has spent time on loan with Scottish giants Rangers and also Belgian side VVV-Venlo, where he has earned invaluable experience.

Zelalem could prove to be a very astute loan signing by Paul Warne and is someone who could certainly dominate most League One midfield battles with his ball retention, excellent passing range and his vision.
