After a slow start to the season, Norwich City have recorded back-to-back wins, which has moved them into mid-table and looking up to the play-off pack.

It was always going to be tough for the Canaries after they lost influential playmaker James Maddison in the summer but the new-look, youthful side are starting to show promise.

Successive victories, against Middlesbrough and Reading, have lifted the mood around Carrow Road and Farke will be hoping his side can build on that against QPR this weekend.

Ultimately, reaching the top-six will be the target for the Yellows and whilst it may seem ambitious, we have seen bigger shocks over the years.

However, Farke may need reinforcements in January if they are to be successful.

Here we look at TWO potential signings that the German boss should be targeting in the winter window...

Youngster Max Aarons has done superbly well in recent games, but it's a big ask for the teenager to play all season, whilst Ivo Pinto is injury problem.

Therefore, Norwich should consider making a move for Villa's Bree, who can fill in across the back four, can play on the right in a back three or as a wing-back.

He was very highly-rated when he made a relatively big-money move from Barnsley to Villa Park but things haven't worked for him since.

Carrow Road could be the ideal place for him to fulfill that potential.

Whilst the Canaries have done reasonably well going forward this season, they sometimes could do with that bit of magic to unlock a packed defence.

And, Maddison could be the man to do that. It was hugely surprising to see him stay at Peterborough this summer but he could still be off in January.

He has shown over the years he is too good for League One and could flourish in the technical style that Farke demands from his Norwich side.
