Two in, two out at Bolton Wanderers in January – Thoughts?

Published

on

Bolton Wanderers will look to make an instant return to the Championship by winning promotion from League One this season and Phil Parkinson has made a promising start to life at the Macron Stadium.

The former Bradford City boss arrived in the summer with a clear remit to put smiles back on the faces of the club’s supporters after a horrendous 2015/16 campaign, which saw the Trotters finish bottom of the Championship.

Parkinson has already guided his new charges towards double the amount of wins as they collected during the entirety of last season, with a new found optimism around the club that they can go on and secure promotion.

Bolton are currently occupying in third place in the table and the gaffer may look towards the transfer window in January to add a couple of new additions to his squad.

Football League World writer Lee Clarke takes a look at two players who could arrive at the club, and two who could depart during the January transfer window.
