Sheffield Wednesday continued their solid run of form this weekend with a 1-1 draw away to promotion chasing Derby County.

Steve Bruce’s side fell behind in the first half from a Bradley Johnson goal but kept their heads and levelled things just before the hour when Dominic Iorfa found the net.

It is a result that means the club have now lost just once in their previous 14 matches as they maintain hopes of a shock top-six finish.

They have the chance to close the gap further on Tuesday night when they travel to Bolton Wanderers to face Phil Parkinson’s strugglers.

The Trotters currently sit second from bottom and eight points from safety but will not be giving up on survival just yet.

But what team should the Owls boss put out for the trip?

Here is the XI we think he MUST play...

[snack_break title="Goalkeeper: Kieren Westwood"]

`

The Irishman has a new lease of life since being recalled by Steve Bruce.

His career looked like it could peter out under Jos Luhukay but he now looks like one of the Championship’s top shot-stoppers once again.

[snack_break title="Right-back: Dominic Iorfa"]

The 23-year-old has been excellent since arriving on loan from Wolves and must start again.

He scored his second goal for the club last weekend, showing he clearly has an attacking threat whilst also helping sure up the back-line.

[snack_break title="Centre-back: Tom Lees"]

Throughout a turbulent season, Lees has been their most reliable performer.

He is a calming figure in the back line in the defence and the entire squad as well so should be in the starting line-up again tomorrow.

[snack_break title="Centre-back: Michael Hector"]

Bringing in Hector on loan was surely the best move Jos Luhukay made during his time in charge.

He has shown himself to still be the top Championship defender we saw at Reading and will be high on Steve Bruce’s transfer list in the summer.

[snack_break title="Left-back: Liam Palmer"]

Palmer has grown into the season impressively.

Sidelined by the impressive Matt Penney back at the start of the season, he did not get dispondent and has made that position his own again.

[snack_break title="Defensive-midfield: Barry Bannan"]

Obviously, Bannan must start.

The Scot has been brilliant all season, albeit somewhat less spectacularly in recent months, but remains a crucial member of the squad.

[snack_break title="Defensive-midfield: Sam Hutchinson"]

Having battled back from injury, Hutchinson has nailed down a spot in midfield.

He has become a crucial rock in front of the back-four and has no doubt been essential to their new found solidity.

[snack_break title="Right-wing: Adam Reach"]

Reach is a match winner and simply must start.

Wednesday’s overall performances have been good in recent weeks but there is of course a chance levels will drop and it will be important to have Reach on hand if they do.

[snack_break title="Attacking-midfield: Sam Winnall"]

Boyd has played well recently in this role, but the Owls should be going all out against weaker opposition.

Winnall has just returned to match fitness and should be given a chance from the start tomorrow.

[snack_break title="Left-wing: Rolando Aarons"]

Another impressive January signing.

Whilst he is yet to contribute much in front of goal, Aarons remains a constant menace down the left-wing and Bruce would be foolish to drop him.

[snack_break title="Striker: Atdhe Nuhiu"]

Changing things in attack may not be a bad idea.

Fletcher will remain the club’s first-choice striker but with games coming thick and fast, giving him a rest may not be the worst idea.
