Leeds United's summer transfer window plans will be top of the agenda for manager Paul Heckingbottom, despite the club still having one more fixture to see out this campaign.

It's been a disappointing season on the whole for the club, who have seen their playoff aspirations fall away following inconsistent showings and yet another change of manager midway through the Championship season.

However, Heckingbottom will no doubt have his eyes firmly focussed on the summer, and he will also have in mind just who he wants to bring into the club.

There's plenty of positions which could do with adding to at Elland Road, and a summer overhaul could be very much on the cards for the Whites under the former Barnsley manager.

We at FLW think that the club could well look to players already playing their football in the Championship, and with that in mind, we've identified TWO Championship players who Leeds United should look to sign this summer...

Ben Marshall

If Leeds want to go out and add some proven Championship quality to their ranks, then signing Wolves winger Marshall could be the perfect coup.

The former Stoke and Sheffield Wednesday man has excelled during a loan spell with Millwall this season, firing himself back into the limelight of a whole host of managers.

Leeds need new wingers, and Marshall can play either side, making him the perfect summer signing at Elland Road.

Abel Hernandez

The Uruguayan forward suffered bad injury news back in August, with an achilles injury ruling him out for much of the campaign.

However, he has returned, and his eight goals in ten games have coincided with a decent end to the campaign for the Tigers.

Hernandez though could well be keen on a move, and if Leeds can stump the money up, he would no doubt be the solution to what has been a problem position for the Whites for much of this campaign.
