This weekend sees Reading travel to Leeds United as they look to upset their host's high-pressured push for promotion this season.

The Royals are in a position of relative comfort at the moment, perched in 15th place and 11 points clear of the relegation zone and also 11 behind sixth-placed Preston North End.

They will be looking for back-to-back wins in Yorkshire on Saturday as well having comfortably dispatched Sheffield Wednesday 3-0 previously with Puscas, Meite and Baldock all grabbing a goal.

The Whites had been on a poor run of form in 2020 but a draw with Brentford at Griffin Park and a win against Bristol City on Saturday has boosted spirits around the club again.

So, what sort of Reading side can they expect to come up against?

Here is what we think...

It is very unlikely that Bowen will mix things up too much, especially following that impressive win against Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday.

There will probably be a couple of tweaks, however.

But not in goal. Rafael has been excellent between the sticks after nailing down the starting spot for himself and would have to do a lot wrong to warrant being dropped.

At left-back, however, expect a change. Omar Richards came in for the Hillsborough clash last weekend in the absence of Jordan Obita, but with the latter now back to full health it is likely that he will come back in to start this one.

The rest is the same at the back. Liam Moore and Michael Morrison will continue to gel as a centre-back partnership whilst Andy Yiadom will look to effect the games at both ends of the pitch on the right.

QUIZ: How much do you know about Reading’s January signings?

Moving into midfield Andy Rinomhota is set to retain his place after winning it back on Saturday but he is likely to be joined by Pele, rather than John Swift this time.

Since moving to the club on loan in the summer, Pele has become a huge hit with the Reading fans, proving to be effective in both an attacking and defensive sense in midfield.

Swift will not be dropped, however, likely to move into attacking midfield at the expense of teenager Michael Olise.

It will be up to Swift as well as Ovie Ejaria and Yakou Meite either side of him to create chances for George Puscas, as the Romanian continues to grow into his time in Berkshire, netting his eighth of the season last time out.
