Brentford performed impressively in securing a 2-0 away win against struggling Sunderland on Saturday to keep their play-off hopes alive.

The Bees are just six points off the top six spots in the league and will be hoping that they are the team who clicks into gear in the closing stages of the season and makes a late surge for the play-off places.

If they are to do that, one man who is sure to be pivotal is Ollie Watkins. He joined the club from Exeter in the summer and has scored seven league goals in his debut season at Griffin Park.

We have taken a look at his market value on www.transfermarkt.co.uk to see whether his value their corresponds to what we at FLW think Watkins is really worth in real terms.

We've found that he is drastically undervalued and if Brentford do receive any summer bids for the Englishman, we think they should only consider those that come in at £12m or more.

He is a young, English, talented forward who has adjusted to his new club and league with such ease that his value has to be around that region.
