Gillingham manager Justin Edinburgh has expressed his interest in bringing back trio of loanees to Priestfield next season, according to BBC Radio Kent Sport.
Edinburgh wants Adedeji Oshilaja, Adam El-Abd and Dominic Samuel to be playing for The Gills again next year after loan spells with the Kent club in the 2015/16 season.
Defender ‘Deji’ Oshilaja joined Gillingham on-loan from Cardiff City last summer on a deal until January, making 15 appearances before an injury limited his chances. After going back to the Welsh club, Deji re-signed for The Gills in March on a loan-deal until the end of the season.
Egyptian Adam El-Abd was brought into Priestfield from Bristol City to replace the injured John Egan, forming a formidable partnership with German defender Max Ehmer.
With Justin Edinburgh’s side struggling to hit the back of the net, despite being early-promotion chasers, Reading striker Dominic Samuel. The 22 year-old scored 8 goals since signing in November which included a double at The Den against eventual Play-Off Finalists Millwall.
Gillingham finished the campaign in 9th in League One, despite being top as recent as the 24th January.
