Birmingham boss Garry Monk will be impressed with his side's incredible run of form, and they have given Blues fans with every reason to believe they could mount a serious charge towards the play-offs. 

Birmingham comfortably saw off relegation threatened Reading in midweek with goals from Gary Gardner and Lukas Jutkiewicz proving to be enough to give the Blues a 2-1 win.

The win moved Birmingham up to 11th in the Championship table, and just four points off a play-off place.

More impressively, Monk's side are now unbeaten in their last ten league matches, which is a quite remarkable run of form, especially after they made such a disappointing start to the season.

Monk and his Birmingham side will be hoping to maintain this good run of form when they host Jos Luhukay's Sheffield Wednesday at St Andrew's.

Camp has been criticised for his performances in the past but he seems to have settled in this Birmingham team.

With four clean sheets to his name this season, he will be hoping to play his part in their play-off push.

The Frenchman has started every league game this season for Monk's side and will be confident of retaining his place in the starting XI for this weekend's game.

This is Colin's second full season at the club after arriving from Brentford in August 2017.

Dean arrived at the club in August 2017 alongside Colin from Brentford and has played a crucial part in the side's success this season.

He has not missed a single minute of action so far and has formed a solid defensive partnership alongside Michael Morrison.

The Birmingham captain is another one of the defenders that has featured in every league game so far for the Blues and after recent impressive performances against Stoke and Reading he is another guaranteed starter for their game against the Owls this weekend.

Pedersen makes up the same defence that has started each game of the Championship season so far and he has certainly made the left-back spot his own since arriving in the summer.

He has one assist to his name this season and will be keen to add to that tally in the near future.

The Dutchman has made ten starts for Garry Monk's side and provides the Blues with excellent defensive cover in the centre of midfield.

The 28-year-old has been a regular for Birmingham since arriving in July 2015.

Gardner was on target in the Blues' win over Reading in midweek and will be hoping to add to his tally this weekend.

He has started 12 games for Monk's side this season and has impressed in his last two league games especially and is likely to start in this weekend's game.

The former Blackburn midfielder was a first-half substitute for the injured Jacques Maghoma and he is expected to make just his second start of the season for the Blues this weekend.

Mahoney has been limited to just seven substitute appearances and will be hoping to take his chance this weekend in the absence of Maghoma.

The former Brentford winger has shown glimpses of his talent and provided Gary Gardner with an assist for his goal against Reading.

The assist was Jota's fourth of the season and he will be hoping to add to that tally this weekend.

Jutkiewicz has been on fire in recent weeks and is a guaranteed starter for Garry Monk's side.

He is the club's top goalscorer with seven goals to his name already this season and is one half of a formidable Birmingham City strikeforce alongside Che Adams.

Adams has netted four times this season and was on hand to provide an assist for his striker partner Jutkiewicz in the 2-1 win over Reading in midweek.

His partnership with the 29-year-old has been the main reason as to why Birmingham are on this good run of form.
