Cardiff City are still in charge in the top two race but they cannot afford any more slip-ups after their loss last night.

The men from South Wales have been challenging all year but with them losing to Derby County last night 3-1, there's a good chance that any more dropped points would cost them a top two place.

Fulham are breathing down their necks, then, but the Welsh side has responded before and they will still feel that they can get into the Premier League.

Regardless of whether they go up or not, though, the club will be looking to strengthen in the summer and it remains to be seen who they manage to bring in with that in mind...

George Saville is a player who Neil Warnock would surely like in his midfield.

He's shown at Millwall that he can work hard in the middle of the park but he's also got a creative spark and he knows how to score goals.

Cardiff's midfield could be in line for a shake up in the summer and so it remains to be seen who they look to bring in.

Lewis Grabban has had a great campaign in the Championship this season and would surely boost any side.

Bournemouth are likely willing to let him go at the end of the campaign and Aston Villa will surely do their best to try and keep him at Villa Park.

If they don't go up and the Bluebirds do, though, there's bound to be a temptation to move to South Wales.

Leonardo Ulloa is another striker it might be worth the club taking a look at.

He scores goals at both of the top levels in English football but in recent years he's not really been given the chance to show that.

His loan away from Leicester hasn't worked and so maybe working under a manager like Neil Warnock is what he needs to be doing next.
