Transfer news emerges: 3 reasons Stoke should target deal for Premier League talent

Premier League starlet Steven Sessegnon is a target for a host of Championship clubs, according to a report from HITC.

The versatile 18-year-old is the twin brother of Ryan, the left back who ravaged Championship full-backs last season. Whilst he’s gone on to establish himself, his brother is now emerging as a talent in his own right.

He can operate in a number of positions, right-back being his preferred option, but with an ability to drop into a right-sided centre back role or even holding midfield.

With first-team chances limited at Craven Cottage, it is believed Slavisa Jokanovic will allow him to leave on loan, if the right club can be found.

It is believed he’ll pen a new deal first, his current contract with the Cottagers is up in 18 months time, but once that is done he’ll be the subject of lots of interest, not only from the Championship, but also the French league.

With England honours from Under 16 level through to Under 19, he’s a player of immense promise who would benefit a number of top Championship sides.

Here’s THREE reasons why Stoke City would be wise to make a move for the exciting young talent…
