It’s been a strong start to the season from Leeds United, who under Marcelo Bielsa, are hoping to end their long wait for a Premier League return.

Leeds have been out of the top flight since 2004, but since Bielsa’s arrival there’s been a buzz around Elland Road, with many believing that club are on the rise under the Argentinian.

Bielsa has Leeds picking up two points per game at this early stage of the season, and if that can be maintained, the Whites should be in contention to go up automatically.

According to Football Insider, if Leeds are still in contention in January, Andrea Radrizzani plans to back Bielsa, who wants to bring three players on board to boost the club’s promotion push.

A left winger is on the radar, as well as a centre-back and striker.

Here at FLW, we identify THREE players we believe Leeds should target…

Adomah is struggling for regular football at Aston Villa, which could change now Steve Bruce has departed.

However, Leeds could tempt the winger out of Villa Park if they’re in promotion contention.

The 30-year-old scored 14 goals and registered five assists last season for Villa and would bring a goal threat on the left.

It’s hard to imagine that a centre-back would come in and go ahead of Pontus Jansson, Gaetano Berardi or Liam Cooper, but it’s easy to see why Bielsa wants another body.

Foyth could be a good addition on loan, with the Tottenham youngster surely keen to work under Bielsa.

His style of play would match what Bielsa wants from his side.

This would be a risk, as Oliveira has been a fairly controversial figure at Norwich.

However, it would be one that could work for the Whites.

On his day, Oliveira is superb and a real menace in the Championship.

If Bielsa can work his magic on the 27-year-old he’d be a great addition for the second-half of the season.
