Bruna has been on trial with Rovers and featured heavily during their pre-season campaign. He has signed on a one-month deal.

The 23-Year-old Argentine had two seasons at Championship Blackpool before spending last season at SD Huesca. The midfielder is unlikely to play in tomorrow’s League match against York City.

Speaking to the club’s official website, Tranmere manager Rob Edwards said: “Bruna is a talented young player who has done really well for us over the last few weeks.

“He has got huge quality and we want to give him a chance to prove himself and his fitness.”

Hill is an experienced defender and has played for Bristol City, Preston North End and Barnsley. The 33-year-old spent the last two seasons at Sheffield United and played 65 league matches for The Blades.

Edwards added: “Matt is a player I know well and who will give us extra cover.

“He’s a quality defender who has played at a high level all of his career and will fit in well with the rest of the squad.”
