Millwall’s Carabao Cup campaign came to an end on Tuesday night after a 3-1 defeat to fellow London outfit Fulham.
The Premier League side ultimately had much more quality than the Lions, whose dismal losing run continues as they fell to their sixth defeat in their last eight games in all competitions.
Goals from Joe Bryan and Luca de la Torre put the Cottagers in front, and Slavisa Jokanovic’s men responded through Cyrus Christie after Tom Elliott’s strike had given Neil Harris’ side hope of getting an equaliser.
“Goals change games – Fulham showed their class and the better team won tonight,” Harris told the club website after falling to yet another defeat.
“I thought with the moments we had in the first half to try and exploit them – crosses and set-pieces – we weren’t quite good enough in the final third”.
Here, we take a look at some Millwall fans’ reactions after falling to another defeat this season…
We knew it was going to be a hard game going into it but there is no excuse for the way we played tonight. Both the team and Harris are at fault. #ForeverALion

Amongst other things, I think we were too easily moved off the ball by sheer strength. We need to stand up.

The Harris is a “young inexperienced manager” excuse needs to stop.
He’s the longest serving manager in this league, he has experience.
He just needs to wise up and quickly, because atm I don’t trust his tactics or subs to get a result #Millwall

Fight, passion and a never say die attitude has always been what us fans want to see from all 11 players in a Millwall shirt & right now we need to see some of that. We might go down but we can’t have a gutless side going down without a fight. #Millwall
