Cardiff City will be looking to give their play-off hopes a further boost by extending their unbeaten run to eight matches when they travel to face a relegation-threatened Stoke City side this coming weekend.

Neil Harris' side battled from behind on two occasions to seal a 2-2 draw against Wigan on Saturday, with this result meaning the Bluebirds have now claimed seven points from their last three games to move within three points of the top six.

It has been quite the turnaround for Cardiff since their humiliating 6-1 loss to QPR on New Years' Day, and their fortunes could now be set to further improve with midfielder Joe Ralls set to return to the first-team fold, according to WalesOnline.

Ralls has been struggling with a string of injury problems over the last few months which means he has only played the full 90 minutes once since Harris' arrival, but he now looks set to be available when Cardiff face the Potters this weekend.

The Cardiff fan Twitter account CityBluebirds.com has now posed the question of whether Ralls should re-enter the side in place of Marlon Pack or Will Vaulks, despite this midfield duo having been complementing each other nicely of late.

Plenty of Cardiff supporters answered the question by claiming Ralls should immediately re-enter the starting line-up on his return, but others argued there is no need for Harris to change the team given Cardiff's recent unbeaten run.
