The games do not get any easier for Sheffield Wednesday in their battle against potential relegation, as they welcome league leaders Norwich City to Hillsborough this afternoon.

Darren Moore has endured a tough start to life at the Owls since he swapped Doncaster Rovers for the blue and white of Wednesday, with his first two games amounting to two losses.

The first one was more of a blow than the most recent 3-0 defeat to Reading, as it came against drop zone and local rivals Rotherham United.

Once today's game has been contested, Wednesday will have played three games more than the Millers who are directly above them in 22nd, with COVID-19 issues forcing Paul Warne's men into having a hectic fixture schedule following the final international break of the season.

That may play into Wednesday's favour but they need a win here - although that will be a very difficult task considering their opponents are going for an eighth-straight league victory.

An enforced change was already needed due to the suspension of Julian Borner, but Moore has gone further than that, with Celtic-bound Liam Shaw and striker Callum Paterson also missing out, along with goalkeeper Joe Wildsmith.

The four names that have come into the side are Joey Pelupessy, Adam Reach, Jordan Rhodes and Keiren Westwood who has recovered from injury.

The formation of the team is unclear but on first glance it doesn't appear that Moore has gone for his trusty 4-2-3-1 formation that he rarely switched from during his time at Doncaster - nevertheless there has been a mixed response on social media to the line-up.
