It has been a promising start to the 2019/20 campaign for Leeds United, winning four, drawing one and losing one of their opening six matches, currently sitting in sixth place.
And it has been an excellent week away from the pitch for the club this season too with three first-team stars committing their futures.
Kalvin Phillips did it on Monday and on Wednesday he was joined by Stuart Dallas and captain Liam Cooper.
Both have been ever-presents in Marcelo Bielsa’s squad so far this season, with Cooper retaining his place at the heart of the defence and Dallas filling in brilliantly at right-back in place of the injured Luke Ayling.

And the duo were sent a personal message from former boss Thomas Christiansen after the news was confirmed.
The Spaniard managed the Whites for less than a season, taking over the reigns in June 2017 but was given the boot in February after the club’s promotion bid collapsed.
However, he is somebody who is still very well respected, as the response from fans showed…
Nice touch TC.💙💛

Well said Thomas, and with those long contracts they’ll still be here when you take back over when Bielsa leaves 😊🤞💙💛
