Tottenham are reportedly interested in not only Ryan Sessegnon but his brother Steven too, report Football.London.

Spurs have been long-term admirers of Ryan and are believed to be in the pole position to sign him this summer, and Fulham could finally cash in on the 19-year-old as he only has a year left on his contract.

Despite that, the clubs' valuation of the left winger differs dramatically, with Tottenham hoping to seal a deal worth £25m and The Cottagers reportedly holding out for £45m.

The fact the Premier League club are also interested in Steven Sessegnon could make matters more difficult. Both players are great prospects and Fulham will want to keep both.

It is possible therefore that they could set a very big asking price in any potential double deal, which could deter Spurs' interest.

Steven Sessegnon has not yet broken into the Fulham first-team and his development has fallen behind that of his brother, partly due to a bad knee injury he picked up in the 2015/16 season appearing for England U16s.

That still hasn't discouraged Spurs, who look to be targeting young players this summer - such as Jack Clarke - though given past negotiations with Fulham it may be difficult to lure him away from West London in this window.

The Verdict

This would be a smart move by Tottenham.

Both players have tremendous potential and under the tutelage of Mauricio Pochettino they could become very good players.

Fulham's expectations regarding their asking price for Ryan Sessegnon is somewhat understandable but given he has stated he wants to leave, now is the right time to let him go if they want to secure a good deal financially.

The club should try and hang on to Steven, he could be persuaded to stay given his brother's progression at the club, but the right-back will want greater game time otherwise he may push for a move away.
