Tottenham Hotspur have made a £15m offer to Aston Villa for star man Jack Grealish, who is attracting interest from several Premier League clubs.
The talented 22-year old is expected to leave Villa Park in the coming weeks after the club’s financial struggles were revealed.
Villa have serious cash flow problems and failed to pay a bill to HMRC on time last week, whilst CEO Keith Wyness has since departed as the fallout continues at the Championship club.
And, with a hefty wage bill to pay at the end of the month, it appears that players will be sold and Spurs have made the first move for Grealish.
According to Sky Sports the London club have offered £15m for the boyhood Villa fan this afternoon, a bid that falls well short of what his club value him at.

Reports earlier in the month suggested the West Midlands side will try and hold out for £40m for their prize asset although that seemed very ambitious for a player in the Championship.
Villa will have expected these offers and Spurs are clearly hoping Villa’s desperation could see a deal happen quickly.
However, it’s highly unlikely they will have much joy with this bid as Villa will want a lot more for their main man.
How much Grealish is worth is debatable because he hasn’t really proven himself in the Premier League and he didn’t register enough goals or assists for a player with his undoubted natural ability last season.
