Tottenham Hotspur are to battle it out with Portuguese giants Benfica for the signature of Fulham striker Moussa Dembele in the summer, according to The Evening Standard.
The 19-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to the London club over the past few months.
Dembele came close to joining the Premier League title contenders in January, but the two clubs could not agree the finer details of the deal.
However, Benfica have stepped up their interest in the striker, as they sent scouts to watch the striker in Fulham’s 3-2 loss to Burnley, with Dembele getting on the scoresheet.
The Frenchman has been one of Fulham’s stand out players in the current campaign – netting 14 goals for the West London club.
The former Paris St German player is a free agent in the summer and it looks highly likely that he will secure a lucrative move away from Fulham.
