Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly tabled an offer for Fenerbahce's Vedat Muriqi, who is believed to be a transfer target for West Bromwich Albion.

Slaven Bilic will be looking to strengthen his squad this summer as they look to make a return to the Premier League, with Muriqi recently been linked with a move to the Hawthorns.

The 26-year-old has scored 15 goals in 28 games for Fenerbahce across all competitions this season, establishing himself as one of the most lethal strikers in Turkey.

Have West Brom done these 15 things in the last 10 years?

The Kosovo international is said to be a wanted man, though, with Spurs reportedly making the first move in the race to sign the forward.

A Spor claim that Tottenham have made an offer for Muriqi, and also claim that Italian sides Lazio and Napoli have registered an interest in the 26-year-old.

The Turkish media outlet claim that the offer is in the region of around £4.5m, despite other reports saying that West Brom will have to pay around £20m for his services.

Muriqi is under contract at Fenerbahce until 2023, and it's likely that there will be a long queue for his signature this summer.

The Verdict

It would be a real coup for West Brom to lure Muriqi to the Hawthorns, especially with Champions League sides interested in the Kosovan.

I feel that West Brom do need another striker if they reach the Premier League, with Charlie Austin and Kenneth Zohore both flattering to deceive this term.

I would be very surprised, though, if Fenerbahce let him leave for £4.5m, as that figure seems very low indeed.
