Tottenham Hotspur are ready to splash the cash to land a duo of Fulham players, according to a report by The Mirror.

According to this report, Spurs will pay £30m to land both Ryan Sessegnon and his twin brother Steven Sessegnon.

Tottenham are expecting left back Danny Rose to leave the club in the January transfer window with Manchester United reportedly lining up the England international in a £50m deal.

Luke Shaw has been touted as a possible replacement in a part swap deal with Rose but Spurs also have their eyes cast over Ryan Sessegnon.

The 17-year-old has plenty of admirers as he continues to shine in the Championship with goals and solid displays from left back.

The England youth international became the youngest ever goal scorer in the Championship last year when he netted aged 16 and that goal also made him the first player to be born after 2000 to score a goal in the Football League.

It is believed that Ryan Sessegnon will cost the North London outfit £20m but they are negotiating for his twin brother Steven to also join.

Fulham want an extra £10m for the young centre half and Spurs are negotiating that price.

The Verdict

Ryan Sessegnon could be a snip at £20m if Spurs can get several good years out of him.

Aged just 17, he is one of the finest full backs in the Championship already and he undoubtedly has a bright future.

At Spurs, he will definitely be handed first team chances and he can be encouraged by their record of nurturing young English talent.
