Ryan Sessegnon is on Mauricio Pochettino’s radar ahead of the summer, with the Tottenham Hotspur boss eyeing the Fulham star as part of a £150m summer overhaul.

Pochettino is set to meet Daniel Levy this week to discuss the direction Spurs are heading, with the former Argentinian international set to reveal plans for a squad overhaul in North London.

According to the Telegraph, Anthony Martial and Wilfried Zaha are on his radar, along with Ryan Sessegnon, who is valued at £50m by Fulham.

The 17-year-old’s reputation continues to grow in the Championship, as he scored 15 goals this season, with a host of clubs across Europe chasing his signature.

The left-back, who this season has been given freedom in a more attacking role, has scored 15 goals in the Championship, as well as registering a further six assists during an impressive 2017/18 campaign.

Sessegnon’s form has helped Fulham into promotion contention, with Slavisa Jokanovic’s side finishing third in the Championship table.

Fulham are in action this evening, taking on Derby County in the second-leg of their play-off semi-final. Sessegnon is looking to help Fulham overturn a 1-0 defeat from Friday’s first-leg.

The Verdict

Sessegnon’s form over the course of this season has put on the radar of many top-flight clubs, who see the teenager as a real star.

Spurs’ interest seems firm, with Pochettino clearly a big fan.

White Hart Lane could be the perfect destination for Sessegnon, as he could develop into the long-term replacement for Danny Rose.

Spurs’ record of developing England internationals will make working under Pochettino attractive.
