Premier League sides Tottenham Hotspur and Aston Villa are chasing Charlton Athletic goalkeeper Nick Pope, according to the Mirror.

Pope has joined Bury on loan
Pope is attracting interest from the Premier League

Charlton have loaned out Pope over the past two seasons and he has managed to keep 25 clean sheets in 40 appearances.

The 22-year-old is racking up Premier League interest for his fantastic performances in Sky Bet League Two.

After joining York City on loan last season, he kept 15 clean sheets in 22 appearances inspiring the League Two side to a play-off spot.

After joining Bury this year, he's managed another 10 clean sheets in 18 appearances, helping Bury mount an impressive promotion campaign.

He's valued at a somewhat measly £750, 000 by Charlton, who's current first team keeper is Stephen Henderson, who arrived at the beginning of the season.

Pope still has three years left on his deal at the Valley, so Guy Luzon's side will undoubtedly demand a sizeable transfer fee for the young Championship ace.

The Addicks have had a much improved season this year and sit in 12th place in the Sky Bet Championship, having accumulated 57 points thus far this season.
