The resurrection of Bolton Wanderers continued yesterday with a raft of new signings coming in to help boost their survival chances in League One.

The Trotters are currently 23rd in the League One table, bottom and adrift by 11 points. They've suffered a 12 point deduction and worse is likely to come after cancelling two fixtures, one last season and one this season.

Their takeover by Football Ventures was finally completed after being given a deadline by the EFL, allowing them to sign players and appoint a manager, Keith Hill.

He moved quickly yesterday to add nine experienced faces to his youthful side, with Thibaud Verlinden, Liam Bridcutt, Will Buckley, Jake Wright, Ali Crawford, Chris O'Grady, Josh Emmanuel, Joe Bunney and Daryl Murphy all moving to the University of Bolton Stadium.

Whilst it's surely good news for the Trotters, who will now be hoping to at least make their matches competitive, not everyone is happy at the amount of business they've conducted. Having had their youth team beaten 5-0 by Tranmere, Ipswich and Gillingham, some fans feel those clubs have been given an unfair advantage going into the season.

Here's a selection of reaction from social media this morning.
