An enormous pool of players have passed through Leeds United since their relegation from the Premier League in 2004, with many failing to impress the Elland Road faithful, who have longed for a top-flight return.
However, for every Giuseppe Bellusci, who fans hated, there has been a player like Luciano Becchio, who during his time at Elland Road was adored by the club’s supporters, proving to be a key cog in Simon Grayson’s team who achieved promotion back to the Championship after three dark years in League One.
Becchio spent time with Leeds between 2008 and 2013, scoring 86 goals for the Whites in 219 appearances, whilst also assisting a further 20 in a hugely successful period for the Argentine striker.
The former Elland Road favourite has now taken to his personal Twitter account to share a sketch of Elland Road, with himself rising out of the roof with one of his trademark celebrations.
