West Brom all but confirmed their place in the play-offs with a hard-fought 3-2 win over Hull City at The Hawthorns on Good Friday.

The Baggies took the lead on the day through Kieran Gibbs after an assist from Tosin Adarabioyo, before the Tigers responded with two, quick-fire goals from Todd Kane.

But a brace from Dwight Gayle gave James Shan's side a crucial three point to cement their position inside the top six with just three league games remaining of their season.

Adarabioyo only featured in the game due to an injury picked up by Ahmed Hegazi early into the first-half and he'll be hoping to keep his place in the side for future games.

Adarabioyo has made 20 starts in total for the Baggies, and will be hoping that his latest showing can convince James Shan that he is deserving of a starting spot for the remainder of this year's campaign.

The Baggies are next in action when they travel to the Madejski Stadium to take on in-form Reading who can confirm their status as a Championship club with a win on Monday.

It'll be far from a routine win against the Royals, and James Shan will be well aware of the threat posed by Jose Gomes' side who have improved significantly in recent weeks.

The Verdict:

They're building some momentum at the perfect time.

This was a hard-fought, but impressive win over the Tigers and could give them the momentum they need at such a crucial stage of the season.

Adarabioyo will be a key player to rely on in their play-off campaign and he'll be hoping to build on some impressive performances of late.
