West Brom will be preparing for next season in the Championship as they fell to an agonising play-off semi-final defeat to Aston Villa on penalties.

The Baggies were impressive on the night, and it's certainly something to build on heading into next year's campaign.

One man that won't be at the club next season though is Tosin Adarabioyo, as his loan spell from Manchester City came to an end after the defeat.

/BxmtKWMhe6H/">Adarabioyo took to Instagram following the conclusion of his loan spell to praise everyone associated with West Brom which will certainly raise a smile amongst The Hawthorns faithful.

The defender made 29 league appearances in total in his time with the club, after arriving in the summer on a season-long loan deal.

He's been a versatile option to have for the Baggies, as he has played both at centre-back and full-back when called upon throughout the season.

It seems highly unlikely that Adarabioyo will be making a return to The Hawthorns judging by his latest comments, which will come as a blow for West Brom.

But the Baggies will be hoping that they can challenge for promotion in next year's campaign, with a permanent manager hopefully being appointed in the near future.

The Verdict:

He's been a useful player to rely on this season for the Baggies.

Adarabioyo might not have featured regularly for West Brom, but when called upon, he has been a versatile option to have in the squad.

A player with a bright future ahead of him, who I can see playing for a Premier League side regularly in the near future.
