Torquay have been relegated out of the Football League despite winning 3-1 away from home at Mansfield.

Torquay gained the lead after John Dempster unfortunately converted the ball home into his own net. Ashley Yeoman then double the lead in the 33rd minute and they managed to hold on to their lead going into half-time.

James Jennings then scored for Mansfield in the 46th minute but Torquay showed some true fighting spirit by ensuring the victory in the 78th minute after a goal from Shaquile Coulthirst.

Despite their win they were relegated after Northampton beat Dagenham & Redbridge by 3 goals to nil.

Two goals from 18 year old striker Ivan Toney (8th minute, 40th minute) and a goal from Irish midfielder Ian Morris (12th minute) dumped Torquay into the Conference.
