Mauricio Pochettino’s Spurs side have been linked with a move for in-form Blackburn midfielder Bradley Dack, who has been a vital member of Tony Mowbray’s side this season.
Blackburn currently sit 10th in the Championship table this season and are just a point off the play-off positions – and they have got Dack to thank for their impressive start to the season.
The attacking midfielder has netted six times in just ten league games, so it is no surprise to see the former Gillingham man being linked with a move to a Premier League side.
The 24-year-old recently signed a new deal with the Lancashire based club and interest from Spurs may have come as a surprise to Rovers fans.
Dack will be hoping to continue that excellent run of form when his side host promotion hopefuls Leeds United at Ewood Park this weekend, where a win for Blackburn could see them move up to 5th in the table if results go their way.
Dack certainly has proved to many doubters that he can perform to a high standard in the Championship after his move from Gillingham.
But I do think it would be a bad move for the midfielder who is a crucial member of Tony Mowbray’s side this season.
If he was to move to Spurs, he would not be getting anywhere near the amount of game time he is currently getting at Blackburn this season. He would most likely be used on a rotational basis and would struggle to make himself a regular in the Premier League side on a consistent basis.
