Plenty of Nottingham Forest fans have taken to social media to react to Matty Cash's performance in the 3-2 win over Blackburn Rovers yesterday.

Forest extended their winning run to three matches and moved up to fourth placed in the Championship table, with a hard-fought victory at the City Ground.

Joe Lolley opened the scoring for the Reds midway through the first half when his cross found its way into the bottom corner, before Lewis Grabban made it 2-0 from the penalty spot just three minutes later.

Blackburn pulled one back before half-time through Stewart Downing, but Grabban restored Forest's two-goal advantage ten minutes after the restart. Joe Worrall put through his own net to set up a tense finale, but the Reds held on.

Cash has been one of the standout players for Forest this season and has been transformed into a right-back under the guidance of head coach Sabri Lamouchi.

The 22-year-old produced another impressive display against Blackburn and got forward down the right hand side on several occasions. After the game, the 22-year-old took to Twitter to reflect on the result.
