Leeds United's under 18's side were narrowly beaten by a goal to nil against Manchester United at Old Trafford.

The young Whites team will obviously be frustrated as they couldn't come away with anything to show for their efforts, but they'll certainly be encouraged by the support they received on the night from the Elland Road faithful.

1400 Leeds supporters were present in the away end to voice their support for the young team, as they faced off against one of the club's bitter rivals in Manchester United.

Dillon Hoogewerf's goal proved to be enough for the Red Devils on the night, but Leeds certainly gave a good account of themselves, especially given that they were down to ten men in the second-half after Henri Kumwenda was shown a second yellow card.

The Elland Road faithful will be hoping that their support can see the first team over the line, as they look to win a long-awaited promotion back into the Premier League this term.

Plenty of Leeds supporters took to social media to issue their thoughts on the away following at Old Trafford on Wednesday evening.
