Many Ipswich Town fans have taken to Twitter to react to Adam Przybek's post after the club's dramatic penalty shootout victory over Peterborough United in the second round of the EFL Trophy.

The goalkeeper, who joined the Tractor Boys on a free transfer in the summer, was handed his professional debut last night by manager Paul Lambert who opted to make a number of changes to his side for the cup clash.

Impressive throughout the game, Przybek produced an inspired performance in between the sticks for Ipswich at the Weston Homes Stadium.

The 19-year-old was forced to make three smart saves during the early stages of the clash before Idris El Mizouni gave the Tractor Boys the lead against the run of play.

Undeterred by this particular setback, Peterborough levelled up proceedings in the 31st minute as Ricky-Jade Jones fired home his third goal of the season.

Both sides squandered opportunities to seal victory in the second-half as the game went to a penalty shootout.

Przybek topped off a fantastic evening by saving two spot-kicks from Dembele and Frankie Kent to help his side prevail 6-5 on penalties.

After the clash, the shot-stopper tweeted: "Hard to put that in words!

"What a feeling... great to make my professional debut and what a shift from the team!

"Into the next round."
