Norwich City are the in-form team in the Championship as they prepare to travel to Frank Lampard's Derby County on Wednesday night.

Daniel Farke's men are unbeaten in their last five league games, and their 1-0 win over Wigan Athletic was their fourth win in as many games - any fears over the German's future at Carrow Road have surely now been erased.

The Canaries made a dismal start to the campaign, winning just one of their first six league outings and losing three times, but they have now turned the tide and sit 5th in the Championship after ten league games.

Their turn of form has been largely down to one man - Finland international Teemu Pukki has been in sensational form after netting six times in eleven games for Norwich, and his goals have steered the ship at Carrow Road.

Here, we take a look at three reasons why Pukki is one of the division's signings of the summer.

Pukki has been on fire in front of goal, and his goalscoring tally looks even greater when you see that the 28-year old arrived at Carrow Road on a free transfer from Brondby.

As one of the league's top goalscorers, to get Pukki on a free is fantastic business.

As well as being clinical in front of goal, Pukki's link-up play with the midfielders and strike partner Jordan Rhodes is also an important part of his game.

The latter, on his day is a magnificent goalscorer at this level, and if Pukki can continue to give him the service that he requires, Norwich could definitely finish in the playoffs this season.

After being deployed as an attacking midfielder at the start of the campaign, Pukki brings a lot of work-rate and energy to the Norwich City side.

His work at the other end of the pitch is a magnificent trait for the Canaries.
