Nottingham Forest's frustrating recent run continued as they were held to a 0-0 draw against QPR at the City Ground on Saturday.

The result means Sabri Lamouchi's men are without a win in three and they once again lost ground on second placed Leeds United, who the Reds now trail by six points.

Unfortunately for Forest, Saturday's game followed a similar theme as they struggled to break down a resilient defence and couldn't create many clear chances from open play.

That prompted a question in the Nottingham Forest Supporter Group Facebook Group as to whether former player Lewis McGugan would get into this current XI when he was at his best.

The academy graduate was an important player for the Reds at one time and he go into double figures for goals on a few occasions.

QUIZ: Are these 15 Nottingham Forest facts true or false?

However, he couldn't lead the team to promotion during his time with the club and it's fair to say the question brought a mixed response from the fans. Here we take a look at some of the comments...

Luke Toon-Watson: If you needed a goal in last 15, maybe.

Joe Wray: I think he would walk in the team!!

Rob Chappell: No, too lazy to make the current squad even though he was a class player.

Mark Taylor: Sometimes, when he could be bothered to turn up.

Dean Dean: When he decided to turn up! Super sub at best!

Spencer Paul: No, too lazy.

Robert Churchill: Just the player we need at the moment.

Walid Ahmad: 100% yes. Arguably, the same could be said for Carvalho (unplayable on his day).
