Plenty of Ipswich Town fans took to social media to give their reaction, following the 2-0 home defeat to Rotherham United last night.
Ipswich were knocked off the top of the League One table for the first time in several weeks, as they suffered their second defeat in the space of four days.
Town have made very promising start to the new season, but their unbeaten start to their league campaign was brought to an end with a 2-0 defeat at Accrington Stanley on Sunday afternoon.
Paul Lambert’s side were hoping to bounce back and extend their lead at the top of the table with a victory against Rotherham last night, but the Millers ran out 2-0 winners at Portman Road – thanks to a brace from Matt Crooks.
Ipswich are now second in the League One table on goal difference, although they do have a game in hand on the new leaders Peterborough United.
Plenty of Ipswich supporters took to social media to react to the result against Rotherham last night and many were quick to express their disappointment at the manor of the defeat.
Some criticised Lambert for his tactics and team selection, while others pointed out that the team must bounce back by delivering three points in their next game against Southend United on Saturday.
Will Ipswich Town win promotion this season?
Here is a look at the best reactions from Ipswich fans on Twitter…
Dreadful and this performance follows on quickly from the inept effort at Accrington. Too good for this league? Don’t make me laugh! We look a side that is clueless and has no style of play. 😖

All the unnecessary rotation needs to stop now. Find a system (442) and get a core 8/9 players that will play every week. Not just a win needed Saturday but a convincing performance too. Still joint top with a game in hand but need to prove that we're worthy of automatic spots.

Absolutely dreadful. Two shocking performances in a row.. when will Lambert realise that 4-4-2 is the better way?!

Today was another poor performance! We came up against a team that battled for every ball! Just like Accrington, and we didn’t know how to cope! This was meant to be the game we bounce back, we defo need to bounce back against Southend! #coyb #itfc

We need to bounce back stronger NOW or we'll face the consequences, we're not top of the leugue anymore, we need to keep going and not drop our heads! Coyb 🔵⚪🔵⚪

Such a poor showing! Players had no idea what they were doing, no idea what the formation/tactics were, no communication, no one made anything off the ball. & to top it off… Officiating was absolutely appalling

No plan B. Once a team get a lead, they slow the game down make it very stop start and sit in deep. In both games we have not figured out how to get back in the game. Mood around the club is still very fragile. 🔵⚪️
