Leeds United have made a strong start to this year's league campaign in the Championship as they look ahead to the festive period.

Marcelo Bielsa's side are currently sat third in the league table, and will be keen to keep the pressure on league leaders West Brom for as long as possible.

One player that has played a starring role in their impressive showings this term is Kalvin Phillips, with the midfielder making 18 appearances in total for the Whites.

Sky Sports Pundit Danny Higginbotham has recently claimed in an interview with The Sun, that Phillips could be exactly what the England national team need heading into Euro 2020.

England rounded off their qualifying campaign with a convincing 4-0 win over Kosovo to finish top of their group, and with just one defeat to their name.

His comments have sparked a reaction from plenty of the Elland Road faithful.
