Premier League side Leicester City are ready to launch a £20 million move for Aston Villa playmaker Jack Grealish, if the Villans fail to get promotion, according to the Mirror.

How much of a blow would this be for Villa? Would he be a good signing for the Foxes?

We discuss....

Jay Williams

If Aston Villa fail to win promotion, I cannot see Grealish staying.

Even though he is a passionate Aston Villa fan, it makes sense for him to move to the Premier League for the sake of his career and to improve his chances of making the senior England squad.

Grealish has been fantastic this season for Villa and he would be a decent replacement for Riyad Mahrez at Leicester.

Alfie Burns

Leicester’s interest in Grealish is hardly a surprise, and I’m sure they won’t be the only Premier League club ready to swoop if Villa fail to gain promotion.

Grealish’s form this season has been terrific and he needs to get back to playing Premier League football.

The youngster has an obvious connection with Villa, but the lure of the Premier League could be too much for him to turn down.

Chris Gallagher

He will be playing in the Premier League next season, with or without Villa.

Grealish has carried Villa at times this season and does look a class above a lot in this league, so interest in him is inevitable.

£20m is a big fee for a Championship side, so whilst Villa fans won't be happy at losing their star man, it's inevitable unless they secure promotion.

Gary Hutchinson

It doesn't surprise me one bit, Grealish is a cracking player and he's bound to be attracting interest from the top flight.

He appears to be Villa through and through, but if they don't go up this season will his head be turned?

It would be a massive blow if he did leave.

Tony Xia needs to step up to the plate here.
