‘Tony Xia must sort this transfer’ – £6.3m-rated star to Aston Villa: The verdict

Published

on

Aston Villa are on fire in the Sky Bet Championship.

The Villans now sit in second spot in the table and look on course for promotion to the Premier League.

One of the main architects behind Villa’s success has been winger Robert Snodgrass who is currently on loan from West Ham.

The £6.3m-rated star has excelled for Steve Bruce’s side and his goals and assists have been crucial in the club’s resurgence of late.

Should Villa seal Snodgrass on a permanent deal in the summer?

We discuss….

Adam Simeoni

Steve Bruce simply must find the funds in the summer to make Snodgrass an Aston Villa player.

The Scot has been sensational since his summer switch to Villa Park, and has become a popular figure amongst fans.

Having proven he can do it at Premier League level with Hull City, it makes sense to seal him to a permanent deal.

Sam Preston

If they get into the Premier League, they have to go all out to sign him.

They will have the money, he is absolutely flying at Villa Park right now and the West Ham owners have made it clear that they don’t think he was a good signing.

Snodgrass was doing the business in the Premier League last season for Hull and he could do so for Villa.

If they don’t get up, the money might simply not be there but they need to do all they can to secure his signature.

George Dagless

Tony Xia must sort this transfer.

Villa have seen a number of their stars show their Premier League ability in recent weeks and Snodgrass falls into that category.

He’s been brilliant for them and Villa need to try and get him to stay.

Alfie Burns

Whether Villa are in the Premier League or Championship next season, they must do this.

Snodgrass brings that quality that was missing last season, and Bruce clearly knows how to get the best out of the winger.

The Scot’s performances in recent weeks have certainly been the reason behind Villa’s push for automatic promotion.
