Blackburn Rovers are waiting for positive injury news ahead of their clash with Rotherham United this weekend, according to the Lancashire Telegraph.
Tony Mowbray's side will be hoping for maximum points to keep them in touch with the top six, but they're waiting on news of goalkeeper David Raya, as well as influential centre half Charlie Mulgrew.
Raya was brought off after a sickening clash during the draw with West Brom last weekend and is still touch and go for tomorrow's match.
Mulgrew picked up his injury in the same game, suffering an injury to his ribs which also looks like ruling him out of the game against the Millers.
“We’re keeping our fingers crossed on a few," revealed manager Mowbray. "There are a few touch and go for the weekend and if the team looks a little bit different then it will be because a few players are injured."
“The team might be near to what it was last week though if a few come through training on Friday and they feel they can give it a go."
Midfielder Corry Evans will definitely miss the game, he's serving the final match of his suspension and will return after the international break, when Rovers take on Preston North End.
The Verdict
Blackburn have settled nicely into the rhythm of Championship football and they'll be keen to continue a run of form that has seen them lose just one in five.
Rotherham are struggling at the moment and it looks to be a great chance to sign off ahead of the international break with three points, as long as they can get one or two of the doubtful players fit and ready.
