Former Leeds star, Tony Dorigo, has stated that he wouldn't be surprised to see the Whites thrash West Brom on Tuesday.

Leeds suffered just their second league defeat of the season on Saturday and it meant that they slipped down to fourth.

Marcelo Bielsa has now failed to find a victory in his last two games, and his Whites side are struggling to find that crucial end product in their performance.

Dorigo has expressed his feeling that he wouldn't be surprised to see Leeds smash West Brom in what is an important game at the top end of the table.

Speaking to LUTV, Dorigo said: "I look at the other sides and I don't get frightened or scared at any of them. I think we knew Fulham, only two points behind, they should come [up the table].

"West Brom, with Slaven Bilic coming in, that will be a help. They are going to be up there, absolutely.

"But there's no one to think, 'oh my God we've got to watch out for them'.

"It's an important game [against West Brom] and it wouldn't surprise me if we go and whop them 3-0.

"I'd like less performance with the ball and a bit of luck."

The Verdict

It'll be interesting to see whether Bielsa decides to make any changes when the Whites take on an unbeaten West Brom side in midweek.

It's sure to be a great encounter and the winner will gain a massive confidence boost in beating a fellow promotion rival.

Slaven Bilic's side come into the game in fine form so Leeds will have to be at the top of their game to get a result, and Dorigo thinks it's a matter of time before they smash somebody.
