Dillon Phillips and Tom Lockyer are among the Charlton Athletic players to mock the dress sense of teammate and Addicks' midfielder Jonny Williams after his appearance at a club event on Monday night.

The do was to commemorate 100 years of the club playing at The Valley, with the Welshman uploading a photograph to his Instagram, posing for a photograph with Darren Bent and Johnnie Jackson.

But in the comments, the focus was all on the cream suit Williams had chosen to wear for the event.

Lockyer was the first to pipe up, commenting that he was glad his teammate had "cut the pasties out at the bottom", referring to Williams' unknown choice of footwear.

Phillips was much more to the point: "Seen better dressed salads".

However, his midfield partner Conor Gallagher was slightly more kind, saying that Williams was "looking alright".

The former Crystal Palace man has been crucial since making the move accross South London in January, racking up 30 appearances and laying on six assists in that time, including five this season.

However, he is currently sidelined with yet another injury, missing the last five games as the Addicks look to confirm their Championship status for another season.

And it is very much a case of so far so good.

With 17 matches played, Lee Bowyer and his side sit comfortably in 13th place and nine points clear of the drop-zone, despite being made pre-season favourites for relegation.

Tonight sees them come up against Luton Town at Kenilworth Road where they will be looking to bounce back to winning ways after failing to take three points form any of their last five matches.
