Sheffield United's stunning Championship form continued this afternoon with a 4-0 demolition of Reading.

The Blades were fast out of the blocks and scored within a minute of the game through Kieran Freeman, before Gary Madine added two and John Fleck netted just after half time to give Chris Wilder's men a resounding home win.

It was a big day for United, who coming off the back of a 1-0 win over Middlesbrough in midweek, would have been wary of a Reading side who themselves had a good win and are scrapping for their lives down at the bottom of the table.

Four changes were made by Blades gaffer Wilder, and one of those players coming into the squad was left winger Marvin Johnson, who delivered an assured display down the left hand side.

Johnson has so far failed to impress at Bramall Lane, but today could be a turning point for the former Oxford man.

His performance appears to have gone down well with Sheffield United fans too, who were quick to praise him on Twitter following the game...
