Huddersfield Town will confirm the departures of West Bromwich Albion target Karlan Grant and Terence Kongolo, who has been linked with both Sheffield United and Fulham, over the next 24 hours, according to BBC Sport's Simon Stone

Time is running out for EFL clubs to conclude their summer transfer business, with Friday's deadline for domestic transfers fast approaching.

Grant and Kongolo have both been extensively linked with moves away from Huddersfield this summer and it appears they're set to complete those before tomorrow's 5pm deadline.

Stone has reported that both players' departures will be confirmed over the next 24 hours as the reshuffle under new boss Carlos Corberan continues.

Grant looks set to join West Brom, with reports this week suggesting a £15 million deal had been agreed between the two clubs after a saga that has been ongoing throughout the summer.

Kongolo's destination appears a little more unclear with both the Blades and Fulham linked in recent weeks.

According to the Daily Mail, the Dutchman could be on his way to Craven Cottage in a £3 million transfer after concerns over his fitness have seen United's move stall.

Do Huddersfield Town and Leeds United have these 10 things in common?

The Verdict

Huddersfield fans will likely have been expecting both Grant and Kongolo to leave this summer and it appears they're set to depart just before the window closes.

The Terriers have been strong in negotiations over the striker in what has seemed a very long-running saga with West Brom but it appears both clubs are set to prosper with the Baggies landing their man and Huddersfield getting £15 million for him.

A £3 million deal for Kongolo would be slightly less impressive for the Yorkshire club but it may be that getting him off their wage bill is the top priority here.

It's going to be very interesting to see whether Corberan makes any further improvements to his squad before the window closes.
