West Brom announced that Saido Berahino had left the club on 20th January 2017, in a move that seemed to go down well with the majority of the club's supporters.

The fee was believed to be in the region of £12m mark which certainly seemed like a good deal for the Baggies.

See how West Brom supporters reacted to Berahino's departure at the time.

The less said about his time at Stoke the better, for more ways than one.

Berahino has scored just five goals in 56 appearances for the Potters in all competitions, which for a striker, makes dismal reading.

His confidence is evidently extremely low at this moment in time, and West Brom have certainly got the better end of the deal compared to Stoke.

Berahino has disrupted the atmosphere in the Stoke changing room with his off-the-field problems and has recently pleaded not guilty to a charge of drink driving according to Sky Sports.

The forward has struggled to make a notable contribution in recent seasons and it's still surprising to see him featuring regularly, despite his lack of goals.

If Stoke are to have any chance of returning to the top six, then they would be a better off cashing in on the striker, who hasn't had the best of times at the club.

It's definitely up there with one of the worst signings Stoke have made in recent seasons and West Brom supporters were spot on to feel relieved to see the back of Berahino.
